ToolZ functionality does not operate on the system's databases directly. Instead, data is exported from Sassie and abstracted into basic ToolZ building blocks.

This process of exporting and abstracting data is called a feed.
A feed has a one-to-one relationship with a datatype. A feed is for one datatype, and a datatype has one feed.
The properties and groups exported with a feed become the building blocks that can be used to create reports.
A single feed can be used to create an unlimited number of reports.
